Building Resilience Through Connection

With support from the Cynthia (Cindi) Cantril Oncology Nursing Resilience Fund, the Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF) is advancing a new initiative designed to strengthen resilience and connection within the oncology nursing community. The Kaleidoscope of C.A.R.E. (Compassion, Adaptation, Reconnection, and Exploration) program will provide nurses with an immersive retreat experience that empowers them to foster healthy practices and prioritize their well-being.

How the AACR/ONF Scholars Program Expands Nursing Impact

The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF), and American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) recognize the integral role oncology nurses play in advancing clinical research and cancer care. To support nurses’ professional growth, the AACR/ONF Oncology Nurse Scholars Program connected participants with leading cancer research while creating opportunities for direct engagement with clinicians and research leaders across disciplines.

Recognizing Excellence in Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Nursing

During the 2026 Tandem Meetings of the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research in Salt Lake City, UT, the Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF) recognized three nurses by awarding each a $500 stipend for their abstracts in the nursing track.

From Day of Impact to Giving Tuesday: Fueling the Future of Oncology Nursing

On October 16, our community came together for the inaugural Day of Impact, celebrating oncology nurses and the Oncology Nursing Society’s (ONS) 50th anniversary. Nurses, donors, ambassadors, and colleagues shared stories of mentorship, compassion, leadership, and growth. Together, we honored the legacy of oncology nursing and raised more than $30,000 to invest in its future.
