From Day of Impact to Giving Tuesday: Fueling the Future of Oncology Nursing
On October 16, our community united for the inaugural Day of Impact, a powerful celebration of oncology nurses and the Oncology Nursing Society’s (ONS) 50th anniversary. Nurses, donors, ambassadors, and colleagues came together to share stories of mentorship, compassion, leadership, and growth. It was a day to honor the legacy of oncology nursing and to invest in its future and a day where over $30,000 was raised.
Thanks to a generous matching gift from the Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF) Board of Directors, every donation made that day had double the impact of supporting scholarships, research grants, and leadership opportunities that empower oncology nurses to learn, lead, and elevate cancer care.
But Day of Impact was more than a moment—it was a movement. It reminded us that when we invest in oncology nurses, we invest in better outcomes for every person facing cancer.
