Now Accepting Applications: Exclusive ONF Scholarship for the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program
The Oncology Nursing Foundation (ONF) is dedicated to advancing oncology nurses through educational opportunities that will benefit the future of cancer care. Since 1981, ONF has provided more than $33 million in funding to oncology nurses, supporting academic advancement, clinical research, and programs that further develop future leaders in cancer care.
Through this generous funding, ONF is proud to announce a new scholarship opportunity for nursing leaders. The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program Scholarship supports nurse managers who have been accepted into the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
As nursing leaders advance in their careers, they must navigate complex, cross-functional challenges in resource- constrained environments. The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program addresses these difficulties by helping nurses:
Identify and influence key stakeholders
Manage staff and limited resources strategically
Make critical decisions, including when to sunset ineffective initiatives
Nurses like Caitlin Murphy, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AOCNP®, have utilized the funds from the ONF Leadership Scholarship to attend this prestigious seminar, and we now have an opportunity to offer a scholarship specifically for this training program.
